Royce White followed Enes Kanter’s example and attended an Indiana Fever game. He took it one step further, turning up in a wig to watch the clash.
Royce White has been one of the former NBA players who have declared themselves for the 2027 WNBA Draft. The league has unequivocally denied the possibility of them being drafted.
Recently, Enes Kanter turned up at an Indiana Fever game and it didn’t go well. Natasha Cloud got into a heated altercation with him. Royce White seems to have decided it was his turn to show up, too.
While no one fought with him this time, White turned up for the Fever game in a blonde wig with long hair. Naturally, the video went viral.

WNBA fans had a lot to say about Royce White’s courtside appearance in viral social media clip
The debate around whether trans athletes should be allowed in the WNBA has been a large part of the discussion surrounding the league in recent months.
What White, Kanter, and others like them are doing has caused a massive stir. While some fans agree with them and their ideas, many others are not amused.
“He is missing the main point: One must actually be good at basketball to be drafted, which Royce is not,” a fan wrote. “If we cannot find a transgender controversy, we will manufacture one,” another said.
“I love seeing men stand up for women, hopefully this puts an end to the madness!” a fan with a different view said. “Thank you bold Royce White for standing up for real women!” A fourth fan commented.
“The wig is somehow the least ridiculous part of this whole thing,” said a fifth fan. “Honestly, this is just embarrassing to watch, as far as I am concerned,” a sixth fan claimed.
This entire situation is turning into a spectacle the WNBA is surely trying their best to avoid. As White and Kanter continue to make themselves heard, it remains to be seen how the league will react.
