50 Cent is gearing up for another project nearly one year after producing an Emmy-winning documentary about Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The “Get Rich Or Die Trying” rapper is no stranger to making shows loosely inspired by his upbringing, as he’s done with the “Power” franchise.

Fif will soon release a documentary all about his own life.
The 51-year-old appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this week to promote 50’s new film “Street Fighter,” in which he plays a disgraced heavyweight boxer named Balrog.
During the Oct. 13 chat, 50 told host Jimmy Kimmel that an ex-lover turned enemy declined to appear in the documentary.
He said people from his past will appear in the “super cool” three-part series. But Kimmel wanted to know who rejected him.
The “21 Questions” rapper bluntly stated that his ex-girlfriend “Vivica A. Fox said no.”
Kimmel recalled the two dating in the early 2000s, to which 50 said, “I know. And then she just wouldn’t go away, Jimmy. And then she said, No’ when I asked her to talk about it.”
He seemed bothered that an ex who has spent the better part of a decade talking about him and possibly rekindling
“Oh What was her reason? Did she give any reason?” Kimmel asked curiously.
“Well, she was — something with the ‘how much am I being paid?’” 50 said, looking out to the audience.
Kimmel noted that guests in a documentary generally aren’t “supposed” to be paid.
Taking a jab at Vivica A. Fox, 50 said, “Yeah, and you talk about me all the time for no reason. Stop.”
Fox and 50 dated in 2003 after he complimented her looks onstage at the BET Awards. The relationship was brief, lasting only a few months, but their feud has gone on for years.
It started when Fox sparked rumors about 50 Cent’s sexuality after he slammed the plot of her role on “Empire.” He responded by taking jabs at her appearance by comparing it to that of a random woman with botched surgery.
The social media swipes continued with occasional reconciliation here and there. They even had flirty moments online, but somehow always found a way to tap on each other’s nerves.
In November 2025, at the Ultimate Women’s Expo in New Jersey, an audience member asked Fox what advice she would give her 17-year-old self chasing her dreams.
Somehow she used her answer to diss 50 Cent by saying, “Don’t date 50 Cent. Don’t date no d-mn rappers.”
He responded by sharing an AI photo of himself holding a blue pill in one hand and a red pill in the other.
“Either way I’m a have that [behind] in the matrix,” he said in the caption, “you know I love me some you girl, but Damn it’s been 22 years Vivica.”
That same month, Fox appeared on “Sherrie” where she told Sherrie Shepherd that the two are all good and cheekily said she would take the blue pill.
The “Two Can Play That Game” actress then added, “Oh my goodness the orgasms were fab,” causing laughter from Shepherd and the audience.
Fox has yet to respond to 50 Cent’s latest claim about her turning down the documentary.
Fans responded to Fox turning down her appearance in 50 Cent’s documentary.
One person who seems knowledgeable about their past said, “Vivica A. Fox declining is surprising, considering their history.”
A second fan also familiar with their situation commented, “Bro, she was in love with you and you broke her heart. What did you expect?”
Someone else who seems to not be a big fan of 50 cent said, “classic 50, always stirring the pot. Hard to blame her though, getting dragged into his drama sounds exhausting. She’s probably thinking about her brand and not just the headlines.”
But the “Hate It Or Love It” artist hinted that one of his old foes might show up.
Kimmel asked if Floyd Mayweather would join, and in a speculative tone, 50 Cent replied, “Well, maybe Floyd.”
Kimmel said, “That would be fun if you got the people who hate you in there, right?”
“Yeah some of it. If they don’t, promise not to ask him about the Harry Potter stuff, right?” 50 joked.
In 2012, the former friends were planning to team up to start a boxing promotion company when Mayweather got arrested on charges of misdemeanor domestic battery and harassment against his ex-girlfriend.
While his erstwhile partner was locked up, 50 Cent invested $2 million into a business he named The Money Team (TMT) Promotions and started signing fighters.
However, after Mayweather was released from jail, he balked at going through with his side of the arrangement and didn’t pay half the money, sparking a years-long feud between them.
During the dispute, 50 Cent challenged Mayweather to read one page of a Harry Potter book aloud. It sparked rumors that Mayweather had challenges reading.
A release date for 50 Cent’s Hulu documentary has not yet been revealed.
According to the rapper, the streaming service paid $75 million for the project, which chronicles his upbringing in Queens, getting shot nine times, and his evolution into a powerhouse in music, film and business.
