A Walking Meme: Angel Reese Points Out Sex Toy-Throwing Troll During WNBA Game
Angel Reese continues to give the internet meme-able moments during this WNBA season and her latest crackdown on a dildo-dangling freaked out WNBA fanatic is no exception.
While helping her team put a nearly forty point beat down on the Los Angeles Sparks, Reese also took time to help arena security locate a man who brought a dildo to the game and threw it onto the court during a free throw attempt. It was the first such incident of this season; however, the league dealt with an influx of the weirdos inciting “marital aid” mayhem during last season’s games. Arrest were made in each of those incidents and a man was apprehended during the Sparks and Dream game as well.
The perpetrator was seen trying to flee his seats in the 100s section of the Crypto Arena but security was able to intercept his escape.
The perpetrator was not named—and we all know what that means—but the league says that he was hit with an indefinite ban from all WNBA, NBA and affiliate games in perpetuity. He was later arrested and will likely be fined. Other incidents occurred during games in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Phoenix and Los Angeles last season with one of the youngest perpetrators being 18-year-old Kaden Lopez.
Despite the misogynistic implications behind these incidents, Reese’s insistence on having him apprehended is one of her latest moments that have had the internet creating all types of responses. She’s quickly becoming one of the W’s biggest and most beloved personalities.
Another funny moment took place during the Dream’s face-off against A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces where Reese was seen doing a bit of refereeing in the battle Royale between the two teams. Her hilarious signaling of an offensive foul resulting in another Dream possession during a critical time of the last quarter has become its own internet sensation.
