Per ESPN’s Anthony Slater, newly extended guard Brandin Podziemski will miss tomorrow’s season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers due to lower back soreness.
Brandin Podziemski is out for the Warriors tomorrow night in Los Angeles. Lower back soreness. He played all 82 games last season but will miss the opener this season against the Lakers.
Steph Curry is probable.

The Golden State Warriors’ guard depth takes an immediate hit as they head into a crucial tilt against Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and their Pacific Division rivals. Expected to step up in Podziemski’s place are veteran De’Anthony Melton and newly signed Brandon Williams.
Known for his health and durability last season — during which Podziemski did not miss a single game — he will now have to watch the Warriors’ tip-off from the sidelines.
