‘Get Him Out’: Rosie O’Donnell Goes Off After Trump’s Speech as His Bold Claim Pushes Her Over the Edge
Rosie O’Donnell didn’t need a seat inside the United Nations to catch what Donald Trump told the world this week. She heard it from across the Atlantic, and she didn’t buy a word of it.
The comedian has spent nearly two decades as one of Trump’s most relentless critics. She filmed a new video from her home in Ireland, and it quickly spread across social media from TikTok to X.
It comes just weeks after the White House execs called O’Donnell a “total slob,” and she responded by showing them what one looks like with an unflattering photo of the president.
Earlier this week, Trump addressed the 81st session of the U.N. General Assembly in New York. He used the moment to defend the war with Iran, tout strikes on drug cartels and take credit for ending conflicts around the globe, including in Gaza.
In clips circulating online, he repeated a boast he has been polishing for months: that he has personally settled eight wars.
O’Donnell watched but had a question about that same line in Sept. 22 speech. “Trump was at the UN giving a crazy a– speech that he ended eight wars,” she said. “In what deluded world does this gentleman live?”
It turns out the fact-checkers were asking something similar.
CNN‘s same-day fact check noted that several of the “wars” on Trump’s list were never wars at all. The standoff between Egypt and Ethiopia was a diplomatic dispute over a dam, and the Serbia-Kosovo situation he says he fixed wasn’t a war either.
The fighting between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo hasn’t stopped despite a U.S.-brokered deal.
Gaza is shakier still. Trump helped broker last October’s ceasefire, but Israeli strikes have continued, with near-daily reports of deaths. Even Gaza health authorities say more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed since the truce took effect, according to France 24.
O’Donnell wasn’t finished, though. “We gotta get him outta there before he destroys the rest of the country,” she said. “He’s done so much damage and so much criminal behavior.”
From there, she ran through her list. She accused Trump of trading pardons for bribes, “stealing billions of our money” and bombing countries “without any kind of justification.”
The actress also blasted his support for Israel, which she accused of carrying out a genocide in Gaza for the last three years, and said Washington keeps backing it with billions of dollars.
The replies filled up fast, and plenty of people agreed with every word.
“Well you’re right about it all Rosie but you’re wrong he’s not a gentleman,” one person wrote under an X post of the video. Another echoed, “Well you’re right about it all Rosie but you’re wrong he’s not a gentleman.”
A third turned her own question back on the country, writing, “What hell how can we not get him the hell out!! This is disgraceful.”
“Rosie O’Donnell just said what half the country is thinking out loud,” another user posted. “Keep talking. People are listening.”
None of this is new territory for the two. Their feud dates back to December 2006, when O’Donnell criticized Trump on “The View” over how he handled a Miss USA controversy. He has been swinging back ever since.
In July 2025, Trump went as far as threatening to take away her U.S. citizenship, something a president has no legal power to do to a natural-born American. By then, she had already moved to Ireland, relocating in January 2025 after his election win.
Trump may keep counting wars. O’Donnell, on the other hand, is sticking to the actual statistics and facts.
