Things may no longer remain peaceful between Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker following their divorce in March.
The two have been married since 2014 and abruptly split in November 2025 with no explanation of why.
Despite Burruss hinting that Tucker’s actions contributed to their divorce, they’ve remained amicable and have even continued supporting one another online. Until they didn’t.

Tucker is now promoting a film called “Til Divorce Do Us Part” that explores his life post-divorce.
It will star the ex-husbands and partners of the ladies from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” which formerly starred Burruss and Tucker.
On Monday, Sept. 14, Tucker dropped a trailer on Instagram where he exposed an intimate part of his relationship with Burruss.
Around the 0:55 mark of the 110-second clip, Tucker is riding in the car with Peter Thomas, who used to be married to “RHOA” star Cynthia Bailey, when Thomas asks a personal question about Tucker and Burruss’ sex life.
“Is the threesome sh-t for real for real,” Thomas asked in the passenger seat.
Tucker held nothing back and responded, “We did. We did. I would say most of our marriage we did.”
Thomas responded, “Oh my God. I’m a saint.”
Tucker, chuckling, said, “You ain’t no d-mn saint,” before the clip cut to another part.
The trailer spread across several gossip sites before Burruss finally caught wind of it.
In a Sept. 16 statement to People, she said, “A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame.”
The 50-year-old continued, “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that: private. His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”
The last sentence is a nod to her show “I Do. I Did. I’m Done: A One-Woman Show with Kandi Burruss,” which is a candid performance blending soulful music and unfiltered storytelling.
Fans shared their take in the comments.
One said, “But it’s just as much of his business to tell as yours. He was a willing and consenting participant. Why not?
A second wrote, “Him speaking about this was corny.”
However, some wondered why Burruss was so outraged: “Kandi has told us this. I’m a little confused as to why she’s upset. However, he do be running his mouth a lot.”
On an episode of her “Kandi Koated Live” YouTube show, Burruss confirmed she and Tucker had a threesome six months prior to that episode. She has also confirmed it in other interviews.
Tucker has yet to respond to Burruss, and for now, the two still follow each other on social media.
Tucker’s trailer shows the newly single man reuniting with the other single husbands of “RHOA,” such as Apollo Nida, Ralph Pittman Jr., and Dennis McKinley.
Nida was married to Phaedra Parks and welcomed two teenage sons. Pittman Jr. went through an ugly divorce with the mother of his kids, Drew Sidora, that left him sleeping in the basement. And McKinley is the ex-fiancé of Porsha Williams, the mother of his only daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley.
After linking with the men individually, he asks if they’d be interested in opening a sports bar together. Most of them agree, but McKinley drops the bombshell that he and Pittman are at odds right now.
Tucker doesn’t explain further in the trailer, leaving fans with a little tease to watch. His movie will be released in select theaters between October and December.
Before Burruss and Thomas split, rumors suggested their marriage was on the rocks. Last year in December, a purported source told People that Tucker was caught “talking to other women behind her back,” and that Burruss “had no idea.”
During a November episode on “Amazon Live,” just days after filing for divorce, Burruss was candid about her healing journey.
“I’m gonna be very honest with you — I am up and down. Obviously, going through a divorce is definitely not the easiest thing. Sometimes you’re cool, you’re moving, you’re mixing, you’re moving, you’re hanging out with friends,” she said.
The Xscape singer added, “This is something that has been brewing for a while.”
In February 2026, Burruss told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” that she knew the relationship was over in July 2025.
When asked if something specific occurred, she responded, “Yeah, it was a specific situation that happened. I’m not talking about it on ‘Watch What Happens.”
Burruss still has not revealed exactly what “situation” took place. But she seems fed up with someone she chose to build a life with, someone she apparently feels frivolously threw away their union.
However, the two remain on good terms when it comes to the kids. They share a son, Ace Tucker, 10, and daughter, Blaze Tucker, 6.
Both have kids from previous relationships. Tucker’s daughter, Kaela Tucker, is 30, and Burruss’ daughter, Riley Burruss, is 24.
Riley has expressed how hard the breakup was for her and her siblings, but they are learning to navigate the new normal.
