KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two of college basketball’s most storied programs are set to face off in an exhibition game this October at Allen Fieldhouse.
Kansas and Duke will battle each other on the hardwood in the Blue Blood Classic on Oct. 25, during Kansas’ homecoming weekend.
The game will then be played in Durham, North Carolina, at Cameron Indoor Stadium in 2027 for another exhibition.
Both squads have had several classic matchups over the years, facing each other 16 times since 1985. Despite this, they’ve only faced each other once at Allen Fieldhouse. Their most recent matchup came last year in the Champions Classic, with Duke winning 78-66.
Between the two schools, they have won nine national championships, and both are in the top five for all-time wins.
The tip-off time will be announced at a later date. Tickets will go on sale on Aug. 26. Season ticket holders can purchase their current seat locations for the game on July 29.
