Spurs guard Stephon Castle posted a video of his summer workout.
The post starts with Castle responding to this question- “What’s been your focus this summer?” His response is that shooting has been a top priority. While working on his shot, he is refining his rhythm.
From there, trainer Olin Simplis takes over explaining what Castle is doing. “Working his pickups off his dribble off the deep ball his gather his shot line.”
Simplis is described here on the “About” page of his Guard Whisperer site:
“Olin Simplis is not just a trainer. He is a development architect. His work sits at the intersection of skill, psychology, biomechanics, character, and pro-level preparation — built across three decades of work with NBA professionals, WNBA champions, NCAA standouts, and elite prep talent.”
Simplis referred to Castle as “the best perimeter player” in a recent interview, praising his constant improvement and conditioning.
