Porsha Williams Gets Simon Guobadia’s Share of Their $7M Marital Home as He Finally Gives Up the Fight to End Divorce Battle
Porsha Williams has secured a win in what some are calling the final chapter in her divorce from Simon Guobadia.
A Georgia court has cleared the way for Williams to take full ownership of their Atlanta home after a battle over the former couple’s prenuptial agreement.
In court documents signed by a judge Friday, Aug. 7, the settlement agreement between Williams and Guobadia was certified.
Guobadia gave Williams full ownership of the couple’s Fulton County, Georgia, home as reported in documents obtained by US Weekly.
Under the agreement, Guobadia agreed to give up “any and all right, title, interest, estate, claim, lien, or demand whatsoever.”
The settlement also states that “RHOA” star is entitled to $1,568,181.63 of the home’s equity. She already received the title to a 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Court documents state that Guobadia transferred his remaining stake in the Atlanta property to the “RHOA” star through a quitclaim deed.
The new agreement gives Williams full control of the property. She can refinance or sell the home without her ex-husband’s approval or an arbitrator’s involvement.
Guobadia responded to the recent ruling and alleged that the settlement comes with financial obligations for Williams didn’t consider.
He wrote in an Instagram story, “They forgot to mention they also inherited $8,000,000 in debt & still got to pay me.”
He added, “Being debt-free is my flex.”
“Oh so the house was never paid off?” one curious social media user asked. “So Porsha inherited an $8 million dollar mortgage. Oh! This is RICH.”
Another said, “All the Porsha haters are going too be soo disappointed. Keep believing Simon.” “All Porsha gotta do is sell that house and she’ll be fine,” added another supporter.
The latest development concludes a lengthy public legal battle over the couple’s prenuptial agreement. It initially stated that she gets 50% in equity and was allowed to stay in their home for 36 months.
Previously, Guobadia spent more than a year fighting to invalidate the prenup. He argued that Williams misled him during their engagement and while they negotiated the agreement.
His main dispute involved her plans for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Court documents say Guobadia believed Williams planned to leave the show permanently. He claimed she never told him that she intended to return.
Guobadia said Williams “made it very clear” to him and the public that she would not return. He said he relied on those statements when he negotiated and signed the prenup.

Williams announced her departure from “RHOA” in September 2021 after nine seasons. She later surprised fans by announcing her return in February 2024. She joined Season 16, which premiered in March 2025.
She filed for divorce from Guobadia around the same time. The return followed a two-year break from the series. Williams previously appeared on Seasons 5 through 13.
Guobadia argued that he would not have signed the prenup if he had known Williams planned to return to television. He claimed the agreement required him to pay Williams hundreds of thousands of dollars.
He also said the prenup made him responsible for certain debts and expenses tied to Williams.
As previously reported, the court rejected his claims. The judge noted that the prenup did not address Williams’ future employment plans. The ruling also noted that Williams had worked as a reality television personality for years. Her career was “well known” to Guobadia when he signed the agreement.
At the time, the court found “no evidence to support” allegations of fraud, duress, mistake, misrepresentation or nondisclosure of material facts during those negotiations.
Williams and Guobadia dated for about a year before marrying in November 2022. Their marriage lasted roughly 15 months. It ended after Guobadia began dealing with significant legal and immigration issues.
By June 2025, U.S. immigration authorities deported Guobadia to Nigeria, following four months in ICE custody.
The former couple do not share any children together. Williams has one child with her ex-fiancé, Dennis McKinley. Guobadia has children from previous relationships.
